Coriole Old Barn Shiraz Cab 2002
Here's the link to my Blacktongues notes from last year, which included it in the line-up:

I've tried it two other times at CD, the last a couple of weeks ago where they also had the (new) 2001 Mark Kathleen & Lloyd Reserve - it seems a well known English wine writer was in town, and a few wineries pulled out all their best.
The 2002 Old Barn had more earthy/barnyard characters, and the oak was less obvious than the two flagships. While the wine has good components, over time I really got the impression of it being left-over bits thrown together, as opposed to being crafted from day one.
Cheers

Forget about goodness and mercy, they're gone.
