Thanks Beringer-Blass

Post by Red Bigot »

Last November I struck a corked 96 Annie's Lane Coppertrail Shiraz and sent an email to the address on the web-site. After receiving no reply I sent an email to another published B-B address. After that bounced I sort of gave up when Wine Oz 2004 happened to distract me for a while.

Monday 28 Feb I received an email from Aileen at B-B asking why I hadn't responded to their reply, looks like it got lost in the spam bucket somewhere.

Anyway, top marks to Aileen for following it up and two bottles of the 2000 Coppertrail Shiraz arrived on Friday.
Cheers

Great to hear of such service.

What would Penfolds policy be on this as I had a 89 St Henri corked on Saturday night and still have my receipts of this and other wines I bought at their CD about 6 months ago. I still have the bottle 3/4 full too. :(

Southcorp is pretty good on replacing corked wines, have the details to hand and call the Consumer Relations.
