1. All the big ones, just not in most of the chain stores. They may have a couple each of cheap French, Italian, and Chilean or Argentinian. More likely to be middling to high end in a specialty fine wine store. It will vary according to which store you go to. Lots of competition for shelf space. Most from France, Italy, Spain. Not a lot of other European or North American. NZ wines fairly well available in Oz.

2. Chardonnay (still!) and shiraz. General acceptance of another dozen varieties, still more available if you look harder.

3. Very, in certain areas (eg Margaret River, Barossa) Quite widespread, many areas developing tourist trails, for some wineries easier to sell direct to tourists than getting onto a shelf in a chain store!

4. NZ.
1. Not sure. Oz, french.
2. Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir. Then all the biggies too.
3. As Above, though not as large.

There is more and more Australian wines appearing on US shelves.

As a consumer, I love to see variety and more choices.
