Guest, more detail needed.
Lake Breeze don't make a straight Shiraz except for the Winemakers Selection. The standard Shiraz wine "Bernoota" is a Shiraz Cabernet blend.
If you can clarify I can give an opinion. Lake Breeze are generally very good quality and value.

Yeh, that's why I asked for clarification!
But it is 98 so could have a premium or be at somewhere like Vintage Cellars !!
Also, I can't imagine a wine of the 98 Winemakers Selection stature still being on the shelf four years after release and at original release price.

As i said im 99% sure its straight shiraz and think its called selection. Its deffinatly there atleast 7 bottles of it 1 on the top and a row of 6 sitting vertically underneath. Where its come from i dont know given its quite a new store and everything is atleast 2000 or newer so it stood out like anything. I take it its woth giving a go. I am fairly new to wine compared to many on here but had honestly never heard of Lake Breeze.

Looks like it's the 98 Winemakers Selection Shiraz, very good wine and if the bottles have ben well stored then the price is very reasonable.
Enjoy

Went down and bought one today. It is 1998 Winemakers Selection Shiraz and says on the back of the label thats its only produced in outstanding vintages and only 320 cases were made and it will reward cellaring over 15 years. Going to test the quility and if good will buy more.

Drank this 3 yrs ago. Any Greg Follet's gems are excellent esp. the 1998 vintage. See if u can find any Bros.in Arm & Oddfellows 1998 (the only vintage made by Greg)

Unfortionatly the only 98 wines at this place are these two though i will keep an eye out for more of his wines to try in future as i was blown away by that Shiraz and scary part is i think it will still get slightly better.

Yes the Cabernet is excellent as well and agree they've got lots of future in them too.
Let us know how you find the Cabernet, Langhorne Creek is a good area for the variety.
