I Keep on cracking these bottles and I must say that I enjoy them immensely. I just love the intense juicy, fruity flavours. It does have its detractors and I am sure I am probably drinking these way too young but I just love the primary fruit flavours that leap out into the mouth and the impact on my senses this wine has.

A deep dark, intense purple color with an intoxicating nose of grainy chocolate, large blackfruit and coffee beans. The palate has thick, deep strands of espresso coffee and chocolate flavours running in twisty layers under a massive, succulent umbrella of fruit pastille and blackberry. The flavours linger on the palate and keep building for over a minute before slowly tapering off.

Agree Mark, I'm plowing into my stocks of 02 just as I did my 01s. The detractors have me flumoxed, I can only assume they don't like the style but for those that do this label is a ripper.

As for ageing them, being from the same stable as the Creek Block, a known long term wine, I'm putting some aside for the long haul. Watch this space in six years!
