At various times at auction (the recent Langtons Melbourne auction being one) I've seen two shiraz wines from Giaconda listed, with different expected price ranges. These wines have been listed as:

Giaconda Shiraz 2002
Giaconda Warner Vineyard Shiraz 2002

are these two separate wines, or are they the same wine? Why do they have different price expectations? If there are really two different giaconda shiraz wines from the 2002 vintage, does anyone know what price they sold for off the mailing list at the time?

I understand them to be the same wine. It looks like it is Langton's problem.

I remember them to be $55 off the mailing list, or was that $45 with the Cabernet $55?

Giaconda Shiraz (always Warner from what I've seen) is now over $60 from the mailing list. The Cab would be a little less.

For the 2002 release, shiraz was $60, cab was $50. That's been changed for 2003 with the indent offer on the cabernet for 2003 (only red being released due to quality issues partly arising out of the bushfires). Down to $45-ish I think.

In terms of the name, it's certainly the same wine. Langton's cataloguing duplicates wines quite often - also notably with Grange. Someone should tell them to clean up (standardise) their database of wines.

If it is the same wine, and not even an aged wine, then it is interesting that they give different price valuations/expectations on it!
