NV Peter Rumball SB16 Sparkling Shiraz – 12.5% - Coonawarra
A complete sparkling wine. Great bead and mousse. Lovely creaminess to the palate. A ripe, rich and broad dark cherry and blackberry core with Coonawarra terroir present in earth and peppermint complexity as well as a slightly chalky structure. Lovely wine. 17.7/20 (Solid Silver).
If my memory serves me correctly this is one of the wines served up Xmas day while we were in Oz. A good mate invited us to his Polish family Xmas celebrations. Way too much food and booze to make any legible TNs, but the Rumball seemed like a nice drop, especially for the price.
