NV Bleasdale Sparkling Shiraz – 13.5% - Langhorne Creek
Impressive wine for its price, $17. Ripe, smooth and deep dark fruit with an obvious sweet liquoring but not overdone. There is some nice complexity with sweet spices and earth, as well as some unresolved woody aspects that are yearning for a few years on cork, which will do wonders for the wine as it integrates with the wine's sweetness. Medium length at the moment. An easily enjoyable yet serious wine. 16.5/20 (Strong Bronze) now, but will get better with time.
