Blacktongues do Riesling

Aha, thought you'd caught me drinking white eh? I just attended to take the scores and so there's no TNs. Maybe some of the other guys might post a few?
Every year when we put together a lineup of Rieslings blind, the voting is always close, it was again so this year. The number of wines that scored both Most Preferreds and Least Preferreds was over 60%! Even the groups top two wines both had at least two tasters who rated them last! Oh the vaguaries of palates.
Seventeen tasters voted for their Most Preferred, twice in the next category as Next Preferred, effectively a combined second and third, and for their Least Preferred.
All wines were 2004s except for the Stefano Lubiano which was a 2003.
Seppelt Drumborg 1 Most, 2 Next, 3 Least
Richmond Grove Watervale 5, 4, 2
Rockford Vine Vale 1, 2, 1
Brian Barry Jud's Hill 1, 3, 2
Leasingham Bin Seven 2, 5, 0
Stefano Lubiano 3, 6, 2
Grosset Polish Hill 2, 2, 2
Stringy Brae 0, 2, 4
Leonay Eden Valley 0, 2, 0
Kilikanoon Mort's Block 2, 4, 0
Grosset Watervale 0, 2, 1
With a mix of voting like that across a price range from $15 to $38, it's no wonder I stick to reds.
