Gavin, I'm sure I speak for all of us forumites in thanking you for another years great entertainment and vinous information sharing via the Auswine Forum.

I know your site has become a byword amongst enthusiasts seeking the rare, the excellent and the different at very affordable prices and all done with excellent service and passion. Every newsletter seems to have unearthed yet another gem from the Australian wine wonderland.

In today's world of the BIG Four making wine for the BIG Two Grocers, places like Auswine and the small makers often featured are an oasis in the current corporate ugliness.

Hope to catch some of you more distant forumites in 2005, don't forget to let us know if you're ever in Adelaide, we like nothing better here than having an excuse to impress visitors with our beautiful state, wines and food.

May you Gavin, your family and all other forumites have a safe and prosperous 2005 and may you drink better (and dark broodingly black/red!)

I totally agree with you 707 regarding Auswine and the excellent Gavin. It had been a great year for me, this buzzing forum filled my wine every days with pleasure. It's been fun, I learned a lot and I was able to share some experiences with others. I too look forward to a great '05 and wish everybody well.
Cheers,
Attila

I'd like to also pass on my thanks to Gavin for providing this wonderful venue for all of us wine lovers to exchange opinions and information about this passion of ours.

I've had the added bonus of getting to meet a few of the regulars and lurkers out there at some of the offlines, and again my thanks to everyone involved for these fantastic events.

All the best for 2005!

Cheers
Ian

Look forward to catcing up Jamie, but you'd better bring something really good, we set a high standard here in Adelaide!

If you're going to do a few wine regions whilst here, I'm very happy to tag along, in fact I can be a bit like that dog turd on your shoe, very hard to get rid of !!

Yes, many thanks Gavin, and all the best for this year.

I will be passing through Adelaide in early March with a mate (yes I do still have some) to hit as many CDs as possible.

In on the 4th and out again on the 7th.

Hope to see some of you around the wine regions.

Did not find any D/T's on my shoes but I must thank Steve for his guidance and advice while I was there. Most helpful indeed.

Also I must thank Gavin for letting us use his resources. Most grateful Gav.

Davo, chuck a Moss Wood or Cullens in your bag and we'll organise a wine region offline. Better jog our memory a few weeks out though!
