We had this wine on Friday night, and I know this is a big call, but I thought it was easily the best 04 Riesling I have tried. Has anyone else troed this wine, as I'd be interested in your comments.

I have not seen that one around, but I can highly recommend the Trevelen Farm and the Howard Park 2004 rieslings. Both are Gt Southern WA, and stunning. The Howard Park produced Madfish was also crowned Best White Wine at this years Mt Barker show.

Cheers

i reckon that mob make very respectable and tight riesling, so i am not surprised by your comments. Their Cabernet can be delighful and quite complex from the warmer, milder years. pretty much marginal climate for grapes but riesling seems to thrive 'on the viticultural edge'.
