Is the price listed, or is it POA? I can't afford it but I'll damn well do some arm-twisting to make an acquiantance buy it!

What a tragedy!!! Dr.Corudus make better wines than Dr.Middleton. His wines are elegant but more persistent in flavour. Also the pioneer in the Cote-Rotie style with his No.2.
The whole industry will missed him dearly

No, let's not take the defeatist attitude just yet! Yarra Yering is in my opinion an Australian national and a GLOBAL wine treasure. If we get the right buyer (trying hard, how much do we need?) we'll see it kept as it is...for all alive now and in the future.

Middleton is in his 80s, Bailey is selling, Guy d Pury is younger, but not by much. Makes you wonder what the complexion of the Yarra Valley will be in 10 years.

unless you've been living on Mars i can confidently atest that
the Yarra Valley is a long way from bargain basement NOW.
