Word of advice for other amateurs...dont use cling wrap

Post by Adam »

Dont wrap your bottles in cling wrap intending to protect the label...it removes a large portion of the gold embossing on labels when removed...grrrr....just found out the hard way.

:x

I guess tissue paper is the only way to go??

Does it really!!!!!! Darn :( .
I guess if you are going to use tissue paper and worried about label damage, you have better make sure it is the acid free stuff available from art shops.

Just had a thought.
What about acid free tissue paper under cling wrap? That would protect the gold embossing on the label and keep the silver fish / book mites away.

Cheers,
Sue
