I loved this wine when I first tasted it and each time I have it it grows on me more. I tried the second release this year but didn't find it anywhere the quality of the this, the initial release.
A medium purple color and a brambly nose of earth, mushroom, musk, cloves and hints of fresh tomato picked straight from the garden. A structured, full bodied palate with a full-on core of tannins, packed with layers of fruits and earthy flavours, finishing long and persistent.
