Hi Good Peoples,

Thought you may get a kick out of this.

http://www.winespectator.com/Wine/Daily/News/0,1145,2547,00.html

The title of the article is Golfer Awarded 340 Bottles of Wine for Two Amazing Holes in One.

I loved the quote "There's no better prize I could have been given, being a wine connoisseur," Marsh said in a statement. "This could just about take me out of professional golf. It's a freaky situation." :?

Can you imagine drinking 340 bottles of the same wine?

I wonder what second prize was?

I read the story the other day, but didn't give too much thought to the wine in question. 340 bottles of Nottage Hill! Yikes. Perhaps Hardy's will offer to exchange it for a couple of cases of something more....er....befitting such an achievement!

cheers,
Graeme

No offence meant, but a bit of a worry if he calls himself a connoisseur :?
