Hi KC,
Don't worry about the replies, they thought you were spamming for a Singapore auction house. I know nothing about auction houses in your part of the world. Unfortunately although I thought I had a TN on the 99 but I can not find it.
However if the price is right, it is a very good drop and I would not hesitate to buy it.

The following notes were from last year, where I ranked it equal on points to the 1998; more complex, but with a little less in reserve. I have tried it again a few months ago (no notes), and it is a quicker developer than the 1998. Still magnificent drinking with a long life ahead.
My notes:
The first bottle at CD was corked. The new one took a while to open up, and was tasted at either end of a tour that stretched over an hour. The first glass was very closed to start, with hints of cold, sliced meats below the surface. The palate was very grand, full-bodied with warm layers of chocolate and prune fruit matched to sustained powdery tannins. Hints of violets started to come through, which really intensified with the extra breathing by the time we got the second glass, to make a wonderful perfumed mix. Sits somewhere between the exotic aged 1995 and the super-rich, super-sexy 1996. (27/5/2003)
Tried another glass at the CD three weeks later. It already had some breathing time, and was throwing an intense bouquet of chocolate and toffee at first. It closed up a little, with some vague hints of cold meats, then some violets and prunes came to the fore again. The chocolatey palate after about 20 minutes or so developed some Worcestershire sauce and black olives on closing, with soft tannins. Simply, layers of everything! (20/6/2003)
Cheers
Ian

Thanks Ric and n4sir for the tasting notes..
Not that there are any auction houses in Singapore that I know of that auctions wines, but the auction I mentioned was an online auction on Yahoo...
I have decided to give it a miss at the moment, though the reserve price seems attractive at AUD $58...
Thanks again

If you know someone in Toronto, there is still alot of it in the government liquor store system:
www.lcbo.com CA$ 46.95
Friends who have bought alot of it and tried it rave about it.
