Where did 2025 go, but here we are, already half way through January!

12 x 2021 Wynns BL Cabernet for cheap from Bert.

Interestingly, the bottles are under cork! Might be from stock destined for offshore, but never made it

Yes I thought about this one too Malcolm...but already have enough.
Yes interesting that TWE still flirting with a $25 red that they think will have traction in global markets...that's the space for cork, not here in Australia.

12 2021 Majella Cabernet
Cheers Craig

Yes indeed...think through a Dan's or BWS clearance I picked up 2-3 dozen of the ’21. It's a brilliant wine. Guess you and I are doing our best to soak up the BL lake out there
Cheers Craig

Amazing talent, PV Rizza our favourite. Yes there are more serious versions but as you mentioned the florals are just so special. I need to buy more contours and 1961 block

Same here ... with a $100 voucher came in at $15 per bottle delivered. Happy days!

Also, a mixed dozen of the current Sami Odi release.

Agree about the Pewsey Riesling - drink heaps and is a good 'house white' in that its a great drink but with a track record.
Having said that, I needed to redeem a voucher, so ordered;

6 x 2025 Leonay Riesling
6 x 2025 Buring EV Riesling

then a Best's newsletter landed - couldn't resist...

18 x 2025 Bests Great Westen Riesling - doubt whether you'd get a better Riesling for under $30.

Are you aware Riesling is a white wine?

Hi Alan.

Yeah mate when I’ve got something in my sights I don’t give up easy.

Pretty good price for the Seppelts, the Joseph not too much less than retail.

Cheers Con.

12 x 2021 Tahbilk Sparkling Shiraz
6 x 2017 1927 Vines Marsanne

At 35% off (so circa $18.35 a bottle) for the sparkling Shiraz and free delivery, couldn't say no.
Will cellar for 10 years easy but doubt will last 2 years in my household. Wifey has developed a taste for it, so I'm in the good books for a few hours

The 1927 Vines was a ridiculous $22.70 inc delivery. This is one of the greatest wines they make, probably the best Marsanne (or very close to) in Australia..... And it will outlive me. No brainer

Continuing the trifecta theme of Coonawarra, Cabernet, and 2021. A winning bet. Can't argue with that. An underrated winery.

Indeed doing my best to soak up all the Coonawarra leftovers...off the old Rouge Homme block. And for $100/6 what's not to love? Have tried this wine a couple of times and as you say very underrated.

Sorry Alan, if you’re based in Melbourne more than happy to share a bottle or two. 8)

Opened one of the Primo’s on Saturday, it was really good.
