TN: Devils Lair 9th Chamber Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

G'day
I've had a couple of these in the cellar for some years now. Decanted a couple of hours before service.
Deep purple in colour. Concentrated nose of sweet blackberries, blackcurrants, cassis, dark chocolate, vanilla, eucalypt, and a little raisin.
A rich palate with primary and developed black fruits (add black plumsto the previous list), cleansing acid, and mildly prickly tannins (well integrated). Medium to full bodied, and the 14.5% alcohol is evident towards the long finish.
Probably at its peak now - no signs of decline and no rush to open the next bottle.
Cheers
Allan
