TN: Faber Vineyard 'Millard Vineyard' Shiraz 2020 (Swan Valley)

G'day
I've posted here on previous vintages of this wine. I've just got my hands on the 2020 for the first time today, and it lives up to my expectations based on the earlier vintages.
Purple black in the glass, with a vibrant purple rim. A generous nose with licorice, black plums, leather polish, chocolate, cloves, and a little iodine.
The palate is soft and full, with Christmas cake, milk chocolate, plums, blueberries, and a touch of eucalypt. Acid is in balance, and there's noticeable vlscosity towards the back palate. Tannins are grippy but not chunky (or clunky) and match the wine well. Long finish - flavourful and intense.
You can probably tell I am impressed with the new Millard. A classy example of Swan Valley shiraz.
Cheers
Allan
