TN: Picardy Pinot Noir 2018

G'day
This is the 'standard' pinot noir, not the Tete Du Cuvee. Decanted an hour before service.
Garnet colour, bright in the glass. Complex nose of red cherry, strawberries, mushroom, spicy oak, and a touch of forest floor. The fruits are joined on the palate by ripe raspberry. Tannins are fine and moderately grippy, and there's a line of acid running down the tongue. A relatively long finish. Not heavy or textural, but quite intensely flavoured regardless.
Cheers
