TN: Faber Riche Shiraz 2016 (Swan Valley)

G'day
This is Faber's least expensive shiraz, but it delivers year after year.
Deep purple in colour. Rich dark plums and dark berries, chocolate, Christmas pudding, and sweet oak on the nose (including some coconut). More of the same on the palate, with some melted chocolate texture, grippy tannins, good supporting acid, and an intensity of dark fruits. Long and satisfying finish.
This still has plenty of life ahead of it, and it will be interesting to look at earlier vintages (I only have a couple) as well.
Cheers
Allan
