Cellar flooring

I'm in the process of putting in a small home cellar on a budget. I haven't yet figured out a flooring solution yet. It's currently concrete with some old concrete sealer from before we acquired the property. I've got some click timber laminate flooring I could use but I was wondering if there was a superior solution that would be good from an insulation point of view or a soft fall for the inevitable drop or both. Gym mats, cork, something else?
I have the ability to mill some timber into some glue down flooring if that's the best

Rest of the cellar build is:
R3.3 cool room panels - walls and ceiling
Second hand Fondis cooler - cellar will be approx 7m3

Thank you

I use sponge interlockable squares that I purchased from Bunnings. Pretty economical option providing a soft fall option and can be cut to suit the size of your cellar footprint.

I went the same option placed over tiles. Also provides good insulation in summer.

Yup, same as what I got. Really easy to cut to size as needed with a box cutter.
