TN: Forest Hill Block 8 Chardonnay 2014

G'day
The Forest Hill Block 8 chardonnays have consistently surprised me with their ability to age. This is no exception. Moderate yellow and bright in the glass - I've seen 5 year old chardonnays with much deeper colour.
Citrus and light stone fruits (maybe nectarine) open the nose, with some savoury oak alongside the fruits. The palate has almost tart lemon and grapefruit, with clean acid and the oak in the background and mostly on the back of the palate. The wine is quite refreshing and mouth watering, and finishes reasonably long.
Experience with other vintages tells me this has plateaued and will hold another couple of years at least.
Cheers
Allan
