TN: Fraser Gallop Parterre Chardonnay 2016

G'day
The last tasting note I have for this was from a vertical tasting two years ago. At the time, the group TN was:
Fraser Gallop Parterre Chardonnay 2016: Pale yellow in colour. Pink grapefruit, white peaches and candied nuts on the nose. The fruits tended to marmalade on the palate. This was similar to the 2018 but slightly more developed. Elegant and great length.
Not surpriingly, the colour has developed in the last couple of years, but is still medium yellow with green tinges. Citrus (lemon, grapefruit) dominates the nose, with grilled cashews and just a faint indication of stone fruits. This changes on the palate, where white and yellow peaches come to the fore. Excellent freshening acid, and all things pretty much in balance. Long finish. This could possibly go another 5 years.
Cheers
