Island Wines

I received a message from a European friend at the weekend asking if I had tried this

www.twochimneywines.nlk.nf

Looking at the site and the vintages available, it seems to me that either the web page is well out of date, or they don’t get many tourists. Anyone tried it ?

It got me thinking though. I know Philip Island and Kangaroo Island both have vineyards, but are there others islands out there with wine ? Do the Cocos Islands have vineyards ? Are there any obscure vineyards on the Islands around Tasmania ? All suggestions welcome.

Waiheke Island off Auckland has a bunch of wineries. Heck NZ itself is an island and has plenty ;)

If I remember correctly on a UK wine forum wines from the Canary Islands gets favourable reviews.

Here in Canada there are wineries springing up on Vancouver Island, though not having had any I cannot vouch for their quality.
