Sean, thanks for the notes. Agree with your impressions on Chalambar, and Seppelts generally, greatly underrated IMHO.
Had a recent '03 Chalambar, at 20 years, absolutely singing! 2006/08/10/12 and a sting of vintages to come

Yes I overlooked that, you are correct, all hauled to Nuri.
Suspect the extinct Benno, and fruit from the St Peters/Mt Ida is syphoned off too. Intrigues me where the only Arrawatta Hills release has come from?

Interested in this. So they’re using the fruit from GW and then sending it to SA for the winemaking? Interesting. Had read the winemaker was a South Aussie but didn’t realise that was how they were operating.

Yes Ed, since operations closed at GW, its largely a museum piece and a CD with overpriced wines. Might do the drives tour one day.
Claire Dry is the winemaker, so I guess she might spend a bit of time in SA at vintage, looking after the fruit. I think she is a Victorian.
