G'day
I'm a fan of this producer's wines, and especially their shiraz and cabernet.
Purple in colour. Complex, intriguing nose with dark plums, blueberries, cocoa powder, cloves, and a touch of vanillan oak. The palate shows fruit sweetness, with more of the berries and plums, along with a little pepper, licorice and or aniseed. Acid lifts the wine, and tannins are fine and integrated.
This is medium- to full-bodied, and finishes long and with a degree of richness. Delicious wine, and may improve a little more over the next couple of years.
Cheers
Allan
