Perth BYOs

G'day.

The BYO Australia? thread has reminded me of another one from early 2017, discussing BYO restaurant options in Perth. It started something like this:

"This subject has been raised before - a quick search shows it has been a few years, however, and many of the restaurants mentioned at that time no longer exist. So, let's have your suggestions for quality BYOs in Perth. I'm looking for reasonable corkage (and preferably per person rather than per bottle), good glassware, and of course, good food and preferably service from people that might understand and have an interest in wine."

I think it's time for an update, for the same reasons as above. I'm delighted to say that P'tite Ardoise in Perth remains BYO Tuesday-Thursday. Let's see what's out there in Perth in 2021.

Cheers
Allan

Thanks for the information here, plan to have a trip to WA in 2022 to catch up with family in Perth. They are all very interested in food and wine, so hopefully a few more options.

Cheers Craig

Larry's Unique Thai (Woodvale) - exceptional fresh Thai cooking and quite happy to do it properly spicy for you if you ask; larb and nam tok pork highly recommended. Great food with dry and off dry rieslings.

Cheers

Dave

Hello

I'd like to ask this question again, and this time in two parts:

1. BYOs for informal catch up. I like The Prophet in East Vic Park as a good example ofthis
2. Somewhere to take those treasured bottles, the special occasion stuff. Previously, that has meant doing it at home :(

Cheers
Allan

Hard pressed to find a place for the treasured bottles I think Allan, but a couple of newer ones I’ve been too that are good for informal catch ups are Nol-Si in Mt Hawthorn and Huong Viet Noodle House in Claremont.
