TN: Maxwell Lime Cave Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Deep purple in colour, and more opaque than the same year's Ellen Street Shiraz was. http://forum.auswine.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16848
Powerful nose of blackcurrant, tobacco, graphite, cedary oak, and herbs (perhaps oregano). The palate is firm, with fine but drying tannins, and the dark fruit is sitting on top of the foundation of oak, tannins and acid. Full bodied and long finish - I can still taste this clearly over a minute later.
Excellent McLaren Vale Cabernet and like the Shiraz, will go a decade.
Cheers
