TN: Moorooduc Estate "The Moorooduc" McIntyre Chardonnay 2014

Purchased from the cellar door in late 2016. Yellow in colour, and tending to gold.
Complex nose, with developed white peach, nectarine and grapefruit alongside cedar, toasted grains and some vanilla and butter. The palate is a mix of fruit and savoury characters (fruit slightly dominant), with good supporting acid, and a slightly buttery texture. It's an intense, full flavoured wine and finishes long.
I had a Robinsons Vineyard from the same maker a couple of weeks ago, and this wine is much better and slightly less developed. I'd still suggest drinking it now, although may hold a year or so longer.
