Post by Meshach »

Hi People

Any TNs on Green Point 2002 Shiraz and Chardonnay pls? Good prices right now so am looking to pick up some if good, considering they are cool climate stuff and right up my alley....

Thanks in advance!

The Shiraz is very delicious. Soft, juicy and perfectly balanced. Good drinking already, will cellar 3 more years. If the price is right, go for it.
Cheers,

Hi Attila

Thanks for the tip! Got a bottle each of the Shiraz and Chardy, both at good prices making them very good QPR wines! Will post notes when popped.

Cheers

I understand a fair portion of the Green point Shiraz 2002 is from NorthEastern Vic which fills out the palate on this wine.

It is a good drop though.

I tried a 2001 Shiraz some time ago and was quite surprised by the weight and density of flavours. Thought of buying some at the time but missed the boat.
