Black Friday Sales: Penfold's Bin 389 - Sold Out!

Black Friday sales made it across the border some years ago and today a retailer/online outfit offered a small smorgasbord of marked down wines. The only Australian wine in the mix was Penfold's 2017 Bin 389, reduced from C$125 to C$61 (taxes included) and it sold out within the day. It was one of the better offerings.
I have four vintages of the wine so I wasn't tempted. What I did go for was the Bonny Doon's 2018 'Le Cigar Voulante', a red southern Rhone Blend from California made by the quirky and irreverent Randall Grahm, who has dropped the Mourvedre from the Grenache blend (52%) and increased the Cinsault to 35% and co-fermented it with the 13% Shiraz. That really has piqued my interest. Another one that grabbed my attention (and my wallet) was a 2018 R Wine rose from Provence that I'd never heard of before which garnered good reviews from a couple of wine critics down east In Toronto. Supposed good value as it was listed there for C$26 and here it was only $10.50!
Has anybody else succumed to the siren songs of Black Friday?
Cheers ..................... Mahmoud.
PS: I do realize that selling out in this context is not necessarily good news because it probably is likely that the wholesaler needed to move stock and has slashed prices.
