TN: Pewsey Vale Riesling 2019

This has been an annual case buy for me for many years.
Pale straw in colour, a little darker than previous vintages at the same age.
Lemon blossom sits lightly over the top of tangy lime and lemon juice. There's also chalk or talcum powder on the nose.
The chalkiness continues at a moderate level onto the palate, which is a little more delicate and less citrus than I was expecting. There is lemon/lime, but its not overly prominent or juicy, and the flavours are slightly dwarfed by acid which is giving a drying sensation instead of freshness. The finish is a little more juicy, and only medium intensity.
Pewsey Vale rieslings can be a little shy on release, and I am hoping this is the case here.
Cheers
