Decanted for 30 minutes before surface.
Deep purple in colour. Nose shows a splash of mint among blackcurrants, mocha / vanilla, a touch of tobacco and allspice.
The palate shows dusty tannins, more blackcurrants and dark juicy fruits. The wine is medium bodied, with supporting but not prominent acid, and it slides down quite easily for a relatively young Cabernet. No sharp edges, and reasonable length.
It will be interesting to see this in 5 or more years.

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Allan had a bottle of this in January...think the note is in the drinking tonight thread.
Remember it was a plush blue fruits... absolute cracker. Don't know where this one will peak but will go a long long time!
Lovely wine
Cheers Craig
