Disgorged 3-4 years ago.
Purple black in colour, with a reasonably persistent bead. The nose shows leather, dark berries and some mocha and dried herbs. The palate is reasonably rich, but not overly textured, with more of the dark fruits and dark chocolate - not especially sweet on either front. Drying tannins. The bubbles balance out the slightly slippery mouthfeel, and the wine finishes with good length and persistence.

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
