TN: Ashbrook Estate Chardonnay 2015

This small Margaret River producer has been reliable and consistent chardonnay for many years now. Part of the formula is 50% of the wine being barrel fermented and then spending 8 months in new French oak.
P{ale yellow in the glass - starting to evolve. Pristine nose with lemon curd, warm nuts, yellow peach and nectarine. There's some savoury notes on the palate, with good supporting acid keeping the wine fresh and clean. Modest amounts of lees texture and a reasonable length indicate a balanced and interesting wine, that is very much in the Ashbrook style.
This will go another 3-5 years if not a little longer. It depends on how developed you like the style.
Cheers
