Bringing home wine from the States

off on a trip to the US in a few months and I was wondering if anyone knew of any deals to send wine back home, such as the 12 bottles sent from NZ for $120 (tax and delivery included). I would love to bring back more than my standard duty free amount (plus I always buy spirits duty free).
Thanks in advance

Do what my brother does, get me to bring it in!
Time before last he had me bringing in 6 or so bottles that occupied a good part of our luggage space. Never again, its too heavy and I never got to taste any!
Seriously, find out from Aussie customs about their policy. You can bring wine
into the US as long as its an amount suitable for your own consumption. I know one guy who brings in at least a dozen Aussie wines in his carry-on - never even gets taxed!
You might want to post this Q on the US based
Squires site (just click the name) to see if any of those guys have tried to bring US wines into Oz.
Good luck,

i once brought 26 litres of wine back from france. mainly champs. as long as it is not spirits, customs dont care. ( that was melbourne, i have also brought over 15 litres through sydney.)
the main cost is excess luggage charges........thanks qantas!
