TN: Poliziano Il Vino Di Nobile Montepulciano 2015

I've been fortunate to try a couple of vintages of this wine. 2015 is viewed as a very good vintage in Tuscany.
This continues the style set by earlier vintages, except possibly more complex - cherry, leather, tobacco, chocolate, plums and vanilla all on the nose, and a lot of each of them. The palate has integrated but grippy tannins alongside some slippery mouthfeel (so these complement each other), and the flavours evident on the nose are added to by coffee grounds, mocha and lead to a quite long finish.
Possibly the best vintage I've tried from this decade.
Cheers
