TN: Santa Caterina Il Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano "Trerose" 2016

Served as a substitute for another wine when the former was out of stock, in what turned out to be the first strike in a disappointing dining experience. This wine was OK though.
Lighter than most 2016 Nobiles we have tried, with more fresh fruit (red plums and cherries), and less savoury characters. Also lower acid and tannins than anticipated, but it made for a relatively easy drinking experience.
Probably not going to go more than a few years, but works well with the right accompaniments.
Cheers
