Is it a down-under thing?

Post by London Correspondent »

It could just be a whacky down-under thing, but when one posts a response to a mail, rather than it appearing below the original message, it appears above

Could it be that it's a curious manifestation of the "direction of water down a plug-hole" phenomena?

Hi John,
Did you see the drop down box that allows you to order the way you see the posts - oldest first or newest first.
Rub that sleep out of your eyes and look below the thread rather than above.
Cheers,
Sue

Think I know what the problem is John. Lokked at your post on the UK Auctions thread and mine was showing in reverse as well even though I had it set up for oldest first. The problem is you being in a diffrerent time zone it seems to order the posts based on the time they were posted not the physical order so your post was actually made first according to the clock. Bit of a problem for international posters. Gavin?

Hi Ian,

It's all a bit bloody hard from here. FG report to follow - will be posted when back from Bordeaux on the 8th. Should have a few goodies. Will visit Ch. Tirecul, to try and get some of the '01 Cuvee Madame. I'll call Pete if it's on.

Other is still sitting under my desk. Thought it best just to let it rest during the recent heat wave (and yes, it actually was). Will call into BBR this w/e to try and secure foam packaging. Wifelet is too busy entertaining herself.

All else is as usual.

Had a '86 Pichon next to an '88 Latour - Latour won hands down. Wonderful architecture - strength but subtlety. More to follow........

Cheers,
John
