Purple red in colour, starting to lighten slightly. Typical cabernet nose with juicy blackberries, some tobacco or cigar, a little eucalypt and toasty oak. The palate is fresh for a nine year old wine, so acid is present but not overpowering the abundance of juicy fruits. There's some supporting tannic grip, and the wine is medium bodied but mouth-filling. Reasonable length also.
For the price, this is a good value, varietal cabernet.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
