Dark purple and opaque. The nose is vibrant and powerful, with juicy blackberry, cassis, mulberry, and contrasting dusty oak. There's some dried herbs as well, especially rosemary.
The palate is even and velvety, with savoury notes underneath the fruit (which is just starting to show signs of development), and the tannins are integrating nicely. The wine finishes medium to long, with good supporting acid.
At 6 years of age, I think this is only just getting ready to drink now. Another 2-3 years at least.
Cheers

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
