TN: Dr Loosen 2012 Riesling

11.5% alcohol. I'm guessing this is the dry riesling. Pale yellow in colour.
Apples and citrus. The apples are juicy and slightly tart, while the citrus is lemon, lime and grapefruit. There's strong acidity on the palate, supporting the slightly cordial-like fruits, and the finish is quite pronounced.
It's not as full in the mouth as some Alsace or Australian rieslings, but its not a delicate flower, either. It's hard to predict whether it will get better with more age, or is at its best now.
Cheers
