I forgot these were in the cellar. This is the first one I've opened since purchase.
Surprisingly pale yellow colour for a 6 year old wine. Lemon zest and stone fruits (mainly nectarine) on the very clean nose, along with some nutty oak and a little melon. The palate is softer on the acid than I expected, with some pink grapefruit. There's a slight leesy mouthfeel; otherwise, the wine finishes very cleanly and is fruit dominant.
This has more development in it - at least a couple of years.
Cheers
