TN: Robert Channon "Casanova's Storm" VP 2002

A souvenir of my one and only trip to the Granite Belt about 7 years ago. 18% alc.
Deep purple in colour. A gentle nose with raisins, fruit cake and no alcohol heat whatsoever.
The palate is modest, with hints of richnes and glycerol, but only hints. There's more raisin and grape flavours, but they're not supported by the intensity you might expect from a 16 y.o. VP. Short finish.
I rarely post negative TNs, but I cannot spruik this wine. Robert has made some very good wines over the years, but this isn't one.
Cheers
