This small Mornington Peninsula producer also offers this Heathcote shiraz.
Purple black in colour. Ripe, voluptuous nose with cloves, dark berries, dark chocolate, rich dark plums and cinnamon spice. There's firm and grippy tannins and good supporting acid, behind the ripe fruits across the tongue. There's some texture to the wine as well, and the glycerols help the wine towards a full and long finish.
This has another 5 years in it at least, and is not yet at its peak. Worth a look.
