Holiday Drinking breakdown

Post by Croquet King »

So it's time for my annual holidays and as usual I've picked out a few bottles to be consumed.
I've gone for a wider variety that I normally would. This has certainly changed from being mainly Shiraz / Chardonnay heavy.

The breakdown is:

3 x Champagne
2 x Riesling
1 x Semillon
2 x Chardonnay
1 x Rose
1 x Gamay
2 x Pinot
2 x Cabernet (1 blend)
2 x Shiraz
1 x Sparkling shiraz
1 x Muscat
I appreciate all forms of alcohol, as long as its wine.

We drive to Sydney from Adelaide each year (including the sensational drive across the Hay Plains) for Xmas to be with family and friends at in-laws place (17 starters this year!). After discovering an old nuclear bunker dug out under the house by my father-in-law in the early 60s (I kid you not) it has been filled with everyday drinking wines for general consumption. But will be taking a case or 2 of better stuff including bubbles, riesling, cabs and blends.

Carl you might need to borrow the Lexus’ ES 350 concept car for the drive.
