I've been buying this wine most years for a while now. This is my last bottle of the 2007.

Yellow gold in colour - clear and no orange tinges. The nose is an interesting combination of savouriness and developed stone fruits, especially nectarine and yellow peach. The savouriness may be oak-derived, or just further signs of development. There's some nutty complexity also.

The palate is clean and harmonious, with delicious stone fruits filling the middle palate, and well supported by acid, which is keeping a touch of freshness in the wine. It's flavourful without being especially long on the finish.

I wasn't sure what to expect, given the age of the wine. Obviously unlikely to improve, but not at all "past it".

Cheers
Allan
