TN: John Kosovich Chardonnay 2014

G'day
This producer has been a long time favourite for its Chardonnay (from Pemberton fruit). It's been consistently good and reasonably age-worthy, and this seems to be no exception.
Medium yellow in colour. Complex nose of ripe yellow peach, cashew nuts, a bit of nectarine, and stonefruit generally, with savoury overtones. The palate is more layered, with cedar and fine grippy tannins supporting the stonefruits on the mid palate. There's also complementary acid, and more of that savouriness which just adds to the interest.
Previous experience tells me this will go to 6 or more years from vintage. This is looking pretty good now, and should at least hold for another 3.
Cheers
Allan
