Yes. Some development on the nose, crisp clean palate. Very nice.
More purchased for our end of year dinner

How does it compare to Grosset Riesling Alea 2017?

A major difference would be the Alea has always been off dry while the Pewsey is a dry wine. I’ve not tried the Alea 2017. 2012 and 2017 both considered to be very good vintages.

I haven’t been that excited by a Contours on release over the Standard, good for sure, but at 5-6 years old it can be in a bit of an in between stage of development.

The 1961 Block from 2017 is awesome and a clear step up from the standard wine.

I agree. I purchased some recently along with a lot of the 2017 but its probably five years from being ready to drink. If you have a case then by all means try one but as Will said it will be mid way in its development and pretty shut down.

Finally found Grosset Riesling Polish Hill 2017 and bought a few of them instead. Do I need to wait 5 years or so before it's ready?
